Your First Angle Test
Quick-start for AngleLab
Learn how to create winning ad angles using our 'AngleLab'.
Overview
AngleLab is your dedicated "Ad Engine," designed to bridge the gap between product data and high-performing creative hooks. By analyzing your product's unique DNA, the AI generates specific "Marketing Angles"—the psychological triggers that stop the scroll and drive conversions.
Use this guide to understand the workflow and best practices for running a successful test.
Starting Your First Angle Test
The journey from raw product to winning ad begins in the AngleLab section of your sidebar. To initiate a test, you first select or create a Brand Profile. This profile acts as a compass for the AI, helping it understand your brand voice, visual identity, and target positioning. By establishing this foundation, you ensure that every generated hook feels authentic to your business.
Once your brand is set, you provide your product data. You can either paste a URL from major marketplaces like Shopify, Amazon, or Walmart, or manually upload images (JPG, PNG, WEBP, up to 5MB). If you don't have a website yet, you can simply enter your product details manually to get started.
Optimizing Your Inputs for Better Results
The quality of your "Marketing Angles" is directly tied to the detail you provide. To get the sharpest results, aim to include:
- •Core Benefits: Focus on the problem your product solves.
- •Target Audience: Define exactly who the product is for.
- •Unique Selling Points: Highlight what makes you different from competitors.
- •Pricing Strategy: Note whether your product is a premium luxury item or a budget-friendly solution.
The more context you provide—whether through a brand URL or a manually uploaded Brand PDF—the better the AI can tailor its output to your specific niche.
Understanding the Generated Output
Within seconds of clicking "Generate," AngleLab will produce several distinct messaging directions. These aren't just random sentences; they are built on proven marketing pillars:
- •Emotional Hooks: Designed to connect with user feelings.
- •Problem-Solution: Directly addressing a customer's pain point.
- •Social Proof: Using trust and results to build credibility.
- •Value-Led: Focusing on the tangible gains for the customer.
If the results don't feel perfectly aligned on the first try, you can easily edit your product description, adjust the target audience, and regenerate the test to refine the accuracy.
Moving from Generation to Launch
It is important to note that you do not need to connect a live ad account just to generate and review these angles. You can use this workspace as a sandbox to brainstorm and export ideas for your creative team. An ad account connection is only required when you are ready to launch and test these ads directly through the platform.
Once your angles are ready, choose the ones with the strongest clarity and most compelling hooks. You can run multiple tests for the same product, allowing you to compare how different positioning—such as a "Mass Market" tone versus a "Premium" tone—impacts your potential results.
